Donation
We donate, drop off, and rehome whenever possible. We watch lovely and usable furniture thrown into the dump everyday. With the help of local donation centers, we make every effort to divert working items to needy homes. If your haul includes solid furniture or working equipment, please advise. We will gladly make a section in the truck.
Recycle
Once entering the landfill, on the right side of the road, are large recycling trailers. We know them well. The city has also provided places for treated and untreated wood, yard waste, scrap metal, and more. The Miramar Landfill is expected to be full in the next few years. This is why we make every effort to reach the landfill with as little as possible.
Trash
True trash goes in the landfill. This is usually a mix of broken furniture, plastics, couches, box springs, clothes, exercise equipment, and toys. Strangely, succulents also go in the landfill due to their ability to grow in the compost heaps. The dump is the final stop and we like to leave as little there as possible. Go planet.
